On Sunday, May 12, 2014, which was also Mothers Day, Madeline was baptized. She was baptized at Holy Ghost in Denver, the same church where her parents were married and her brother was baptized. Her godparents are good friends, Julie and Jason Forton. Julie was able to come from Michigan for the baptism. Matt Gehring, a pro at being a Godparent (he is Finn's) stood in for Jason. Maddie's grandparents were all there for her baptism too.

After church, family and friends gathered at Maddie's house. Maddie and her family were so happy that Julie was able to come out for a couple days for the baptism - which was a big deal since she was leaving two little ones at home - one of which was just a couple months old. Thank you Godparents!
